Be Prepared

Safety extends beyond firearm handling. Emergencies can happen anywhere, and every responsible shooter should be prepared to respond. A basic first aid or bleed-control kit is an investment that reflects preparedness and personal responsibility. You can build your own or buy a kit that’s ready to go. Most of all, you should get training on HOW to use the items that are in your first aid kit.

Build your own kit

Below are the items that we think should be in your individual first aid kit (IFAK). The kits we use could run upwards of $200 with everything listed below. Don’t feel like you must buy everything at once. Items are listed in order of their importance. Start at the top and work your way down. Eventually, you will have a full kit.

Customize the kit as you see fit. Add a pack of Band-Aids, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, bee-sting, whatever you feel you need.
