When Tom and I decided to open ourselves to marketing products, we agreed to market only those products we have tried, tested, and found worthy. What attracted us to Wiley X products? First - they are standard issue to US military forces. Select Wiley X eyewear meets or exceeds MIL-PRF-31013 and MIL-DTL-43511D VO Ballistic Impact Standards for spectacles and goggles respectively. MIL-PRF-310013 requires eyewear to withstand the impact of a .15 caliber fragment fired at 640-660 fps. While MIL-DTL-43511D requires a goggle to withstand the impact of a .22 caliber fragment fired at 540-560 FPS.

But a great quality product is not everything - product support is just as important. When Wiley X contacted us regarding our becoming a dealer, we had numerous conversations with the product representative. We were given product to test and try out. Our questions included issues regarding warranty, service, exchange policies, and marketing support. These were important questions for us. This is because we quite frankly would rather spend our free time working to improve and expand our curriculums and develop our instructors in order to provide you with a better and higher quality training experience rather than having to deal with the logistics of stocking product, tracking inventory, riding customer service to do the right thing, etc. What we found was a family owned company invested in customer service, more than willing to take the time to do things right. They answered all of our questions satisfactorily. During this time every time we saw a shooter or law enforcement officer wearing Wiley X - we asked them about their level of satisfaction with the product. Wiley X and the US Military Front Line Forces

Wiley X is approved eyewear for all US military combat units. Wiley X makes a wide variety of eyewear - we only feature a portion of their product line in these pages. Their line includes not only wrap-around eyewear like those featured on this page, but also goggles, and more traditional styles of eyewear. A number of their product lines are available through GSA contract purchasing.

Brian Wilson, Co-Owner of Atlanta Firearms Training has personal experience with inadequately designed protective eyewear. A spent case was ejected and landed between his eyewear and his eyes, burning his eyelids. Their wrap around frames such as these on this page fit closely to the eyebrow ridge, preventing such an occurence from happening
